Healthy Ageing Norfolk
Healthy Ageing Norfolk is a unique partnership between Norfolk Citizens Advice, Age UK Norwich and Voluntary Norfolk.
Experts in our fields, we combine services in healthy ageing, accredited advice, social connection, and community support – all factors related to frailty and ageing well.
Our mission is simple:
To keep you physically active, independent, and socially connected.
Did you know that one in four people in the UK aged 55-64 are physically inactive, meaning they do less than 30 minutes of physical activity a week? This can get worse with age and could lead to an increased risk of many diseases and conditions that affect us in later life such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, stroke and some types of cancer, as well as mental health problems.
But being regularly physically active and socially connected can help to prevent these problems and can extend the number of years we spend living in good health maximising our enjoyment of later life with friends and loved ones!
Our experienced team is dedicated to guiding you towards regaining strength, enhancing flexibility, and boosting overall fitness. Embrace an active and independent lifestyle, irrespective of age.
